Should you go over list price?

Ryan and Brooke were looking for homes in Burke and we had put in multiple offers but just refused to go $25,000 to $50,000 over list price like others were doing. So, we came up with a crazy idea and put an offer in on a house sight unseen. It looked amazing in pictures and we thought we’d give it a try. What this meant for them was they were the first and only people to visit the home and then they had the option to avoid it within one hour if they didn’t like it.

I know you always hear these crazy stories, but does it really ever end happily ever after? Great question.

For Ryan and Brooke, they only paid $15,000 over list price and the house was like 10 times better in person than pictures. I’m so happy for them and their new amazing home. .
